A first HealthRider's exercise machine has been introduced in early 1990s. It was the famous "Original HealthRider". From that time, only the name is left of the old glory. Namely, HealthRider treadmills are produced by one of the largest manufacturer of the fitness equipment in the world - the ICON Health and Fitness. They produce several other popular brands including Proform, NordicTrack, Weslo, and so on. In our opinion, they are focused in mass production, satisfied with selling their fitness equipment through large retail chains. Unfortunately, now they are known more for their features rather than their quality.

HealthRider Treadmill Line Review

HealthRider treadmill line include good machines, but the overall impression is that they are overpriced. There are other brands out there that would give you better treadmills in this price range (see Horizon and Sole Fitness, for instance).
