Bowflex BXT216 Review

The Bowflex BXT216 is equipped with a powerfull motor delivering 4.0 continuous horsepower. The engines that deliver this same power are built into models for commercial use, as well (gym, fitness clubs, etc.). Bowlex has covered this one with 15-year warranty. This should be a good indicator of its quality. The engine delivers enough power for a maximum speed of 12mph (19.3 kilometers per hour). Additionally, it can lift up the deck to a 15% incline level. The deck cushioning solution in this model is superb. It comes with a 5-Cell Comfort Tech™ cushioning paired with a durable 3-ply 2.5mm belt, providing a great support for your knees and feet. The whole system is so quiet that even running early morning wouldn't wake the house. The BXT216 running area provides a plenty space, even for serious runners. It is 22" wide x 60" long, which is pretty comfortable for tall people as well.

The console is especially beautiful and modernly designed. In addition to plenty of storage space on the lower shelf, there are also enogh room for storing bottles, keys and other things in the main console. Right in front of you is placed a wide media shelf (tablet or phone holder). This suggests that you have some entertainment and connectivity options. The computer console is equipped with integrated Bluetooth® 4.0, which is used to sync with the Bowflex Results application (compatible with Apple devices on iOS 9.0 or greater and most Android devices with version 5.0 or greater). There is also a built-in USB charging port.

The BXT216 console features everything you need for comfortable work out. There are integrated speakers, 3-speed cooling fan, contact HR grips (plus included chest strap), and a beautiful 9” full color backlit LCD display. The computer is preloaded with 11 workout programs and supports up to 4 different user profiles, so your whole family can enjoy it and track the progress.

The main competitive models of the BXT 216 are Sole f85 and Nordictrack Commercial 1750. In our humble opinion, the Bowflex BXT216 treadmill is far ahead of its competitors. It seems more sturdy than even some commercial machines at the gym.
