There is not a lot of difference between the Sole s77 and the F85. They share all the same great features, with one main difference. It is a construction of their frames. The F85 can be folded (preferably for many home users), while the S77 has a non-foldable deck, which means it is more sturdy, designed for heavy use. This main difference puts the S77 in a light-commercial treadmill class (another Sole's commercial model is the TT8). It is suitable for use in environments such as apartment complexes, police and fire stations, or smaller gyms where the machine will work approximately 5 hours per day.

Like the Sole's best selling treadmill - the F85, the S77 is also equipped with a strong 4.0CHP motor. Its reinforced frame easily supports users weighing up to 400lbs. A 22" wide x 60" long running surface would be comfortable for any runner. In addition to help a treadbelt to accelerate to the maximum speed of 12mph, the 4.0 CHP motor also runs it up to 15 incline levels, which is more than enough for even heavy users. Studies have shown that the S77 running deck is designed in such a way to reduce impact up to 40% as compared to running on asphalt.

The treadmill console has one of the largest display in the industry - a 10.1-inch TFT LCD display. It also features an integrated sound system wiht built-in speakers and an audio input jack, coolong fans, bottle holders and a utility tray.
