The Treadclimber TC5 is and old model - out of manufacture. It has been replaced with the new, improved machine for walkers - TC100.

With its new technology, Bowflex has moved a step further in designing a multifunctional exercise machine offering to users to buy a 3-in-1 fitness machine at price of one. The Treadclimber TC5 is an entry-level machine in the new series of these unique "treadmills", developed by Bowflex.

The TC5 differs from the other two models by the fact that there is no engine. During our reviews some complaints were directed specifically to the motor-free design. Some of users found that it is hard to workout on. The truth is that you'll need some time to get used to the movements. After that, you'll be in really good shape ;-). If you are just beginning an exercise program I don't think this machine is for you. You would be better off with a motorized model - the TC10. In my opinion, it’s worth the extra money to get the motor and better features. As you can see, all the machine do the same 3-in-1 motion. The reason why the TC10 is the most popular choice by user is that more complaints were received about the TC5 than about the 10 and 20 combined. The Bowflex Treadclimber TC5 is still a good machine which is rated pretty high by users too. I am sure that you’ll be happy with it, but if it’s in the budget, the TC10 is a better long-term investment.
