Everything on this cardio machine is running manually. It is not motorised and it doesn't have an electronic adjustable speed, but nevertheless you can roll it without any trouble. Although there is no incline option, the deck is inclined at a certain angle to give you the "uphill" feeling allowing you to engage different muscles. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to run the treadbelt by your leg power. Don't forget, before the treadmill is used, the walking platform should be lubricated (a lubricant is included). It is a good idea to apply it on regular basis. The total weight of the whole machine is only 60 lbs, so it can be easily moved from one place to another.
